How to Add Seat Licenses for Snappy Gifts for Salesforce Users

Snappy Gifts utilizes a Seat License model and requires users of the app to be “seated” with a license to send a gift or use the app’s components to monitor or administer the Snappy Gifts managed package. If a user receives this error when trying to send a gift, ensure that they have been granted a Seat License for the Snappy Gifts app.

To assign a seat license to your users, please follow the steps outlined below.

1️⃣ Log in to Salesforce as an Administrator user.

2️⃣ Go to Setup (Gear Icon → Setup)

3️⃣ Type “Installed Packages” into the Quick Search, then open the Search Result


4️⃣ Click Manage Licenses next to the Snappy Gifts package

5️⃣ In the Licensed Users section, click Add Users

6️⃣ Select the user(s) and click Add


7️⃣ Verify the user(s) display in the Licensed Users list
