This guide will walk you through the simple steps of uploading your employees into our system.
Information You'll Need
To add new employees, you'll need the following information
Mandatory: First Name, Last Name, and Email Address.
Optional: Department, Site, Birthdate, and Start Date.
How to Add Recipients
Navigate to the Points section → Click the "+ Upload People" button.
Choose Your Upload Method → You'll see two options
Manual/CSV
Sync HRIS
Add Manually
1️⃣ Select "Manually enter data"
2️⃣ Enter the employee information directly into the spreadsheet.
Remember: First Name, Last Name, and Email Address are required (marked with an asterisk *)
Other fields are optional but helpful for activating automations (Anniversary, Birthday, Onboarding)
Note: The "Site" field refers to "Country"
Date Format: When entering Birthdate and Start Date, use one of these formats:
yyyy-mm-dd
,mm/dd/yyyy
, ordd.mm.yyyy
. For birthdays, you can use any year for the date (ex. 2024)You can also add an initial balance to the employee during this process by filling in the "Add Balance" Field (after recipients are added)
Import CSV
1️⃣ Prepare a CSV, TSV, or TXT file with one employee per row. A CSV template is available for download at the bottom of this article.
2️⃣ Ensure your file includes columns for First Name, Last Name, and Email Address.
3️⃣ Click "Upload" and select your file.
4️⃣ You'll be prompted to match the columns in your file to the correct data fields. Review and edit as needed, and click continue.
5️⃣ Review the data for any errors, and make any necessary corrections.
6️⃣ Finalize the upload.
Sync HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
This method allows you to automatically import employees from your HRIS.
1️⃣ Select your HRIS provider from the list.
2️⃣ Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your HRIS to our system.

Note: If you use HRIS sync, make all employee list changes (except rewards) within your HRIS system. Changes made directly in our system will not be saved.
