Managing your Payment Methods

Adding a Payment Method to Your Store

Our platform operates on a pay-as-you-go model, which means you'll need to add a credit card payment method to activate your store and process transactions. Here's how to do it:

Adding a Payment Method 💳

1️⃣ Access the Dashboard: Log in to your store's Dashboard.

2️⃣ Navigate to Payment tab: On the top left-hand side, click "Payment"

3️⃣ Enter Payment Details: Carefully fill in the required credit card information.

4️⃣ Enter Company Legal Name: ⚠️ *Important:* Please ensure you enter your company's legal name accurately. This information will be used for generating your invoices and other financial documentation.

5️⃣ Save Your Payment Method: Once you've entered all the details, click "Save" or the relevant button to add your payment method.


Setting a Default Payment Method 🌟

If you have added multiple credit cards to your account, you'll need to designate one as the default for automatic charges. Here's how:

1️⃣ Access Stripe Portal: From the "Settings" screen in your store dashboard, locate and click the link to access your Stripe portal.

2️⃣ Locate Payment Methods: Within the Stripe portal, you will see a list of your saved payment methods.

3️⃣ Select Default Option: Find the payment method you want to set as the default. Click the three dots (or a similar options icon) next to it.

4️⃣ Choose 'Make default': From the dropdown menu, select the "Make default" option.

5️⃣ Confirm Default: Ensure that the text "Default" now appears next to your newly selected payment method.


Updating Your Billing Information 📝

1️⃣ Access the Dashboard: Log in to your store's Dashboard.

2️⃣ Navigate to Payment tab: On the top left-hand side, click "Payment"

3️⃣ Choose the credit card you would like to update and click on the "Customer Portal" button to the right

4️⃣ Scroll down to the "Billing and Shipping Information" section → click on "Update Information"

5️⃣ Make the necessary changes to the fields you want to update, such as name, email, address or phone number

6️⃣ Once you have finished making changes, click on the "Save" button to save your updated billing information. Your new changes will be reflected in your future invoices.
