What can I do with the Snappy API?
Snappy supports two main integration models, depending on your use case:
Triggered Gifting (Recipient Choice). Your system triggers a gift; Snappy handles the rest — notifying the recipient, presenting a curated collection, collecting their address, and fulfilling the order. Common use cases: employee anniversaries and birthdays, sales lead nurturing, client onboarding.
Direct Fulfillment (Embedded Marketplace). Embed Snappy's product catalog into your own platform. Your users browse and select gifts within your UI, and Snappy handles fulfillment behind the scenes. Common use cases: rewards marketplaces, internal swag stores, procurement portals.

Does Snappy have Webhooks?
Yes. Snappy supports Webhooks for real-time event notifications — gift status changes, delivery updates, recipient thank-you notes, stock availability, and order events. This keeps your system in sync with Snappy without needing to poll the API.
Does Snappy support AI integrations?
Yes. Snappy provides a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, letting AI agents like Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot send gifts through natural-language tool calls instead of building a traditional REST integration.
Is the API secure?
Snappy authenticates requests using scoped API keys with granular permissions and supports key rotation. Enterprise customers requiring certificate-based mutual authentication can enable Mutual TLS (mTLS).
