Per Amazon's company policy, there is a $600 annual limit (or 12 gift maximum) on the total Snappy gift value you may send to an Amazon Associate within a calendar year.
As of September 2025, Snappy has implemented this control feature to ensure compliance.
This feature cannot be turned off or adjusted. For more information, reach out to your Amazon Leadership team.
How Does it Work?
Snappy has set internal controls that identify a unique gift recipient and tracks the total gift budget they have been sent throughout a calendar year. If that amount exceeds $600 or 12 gifts, you will not be able to send a gift to that Associate.
Yearly Budget Limit: $600/employee
Yearly Gift Limit: 12 gifts/employee
The limits will prevent gifts from being sent to an employee if either the Yearly Budget Limit or the Yearly Gift Limit is exceeded.
What Happens When an Employee Hits the Limit?
When an Admin attempts to send a gift to an employee who has reached either limit, they will receive a message that prevents them from sending the gift. This occurs in a few different ways:
β1. Upload From File
On the Recipient step of the Campaign flow, when choosing Upload from File, any employee who will exceed the limit will be excluded from the list.
2. Select From Existing
On the Recipient step of the Campaign flow, when choosing Select from Existing, any employee who will exceed the limit will be excluded from the list.
3. Add New Recipient
If attempting to add a recipient using Add New Recipient, the limit notification will also pop up.
Easy Monitoring and Reporting
Administrators can easily track compliance with their gifting policies through Snappy's dashboard. By navigating to the Recipients tab and applying available filters, managers can review detailed information about each employee's received gifts and their total value for the year.β
For comprehensive record-keeping, this information can be downloaded as a CSV/Excel file by selecting "Email Report."β
Please note: To ensure that company limits are controlled, permissions to enable/adjust these limits can only be done by the Snappy team.
Please contact your Account Manager or Performance Manager for more information.
