Customizing Your Gift Greeting Message
Personalizing your gift message is easy! Use this section to easily customize messaging for multiple recipients receiving gifts for the same initiative/reason for Scheduled/Automated Greetings.
From within your campaign, under Step 2 (Gift Studio), select the Greeting tab.
Personalizing your gift message is easy! Use this section to easily customize messaging for multiple recipients receiving gifts for the same initiative/reason. Think of it as a personalized notecard that comes with your gift!

To customize the Greeting message for your general campaign template, please follow the steps below:
Step 1) Click into your Campaign's Editing Section
Navigate to your Campaigns tab → hover over your campaign → select the 3 dots button → Edit.
Step 2) Head to the Gift Studio
Click on Step 2) Gift Studio to customize your gift, then navigate to the Greeting tab
Step 3) Greeting Line
The first field is our salutation field. It will automatically default to “Hi @firstname.” Utilizing the @firstname field will, by default, automatically pull the first name of your recipient(s) inputted in the system. You can leave this as the default, or you can click into the box and type out a different salutation.
💡 TIP: You can type in the "@" symbol to see the different merged tag options available. Using the "@" symbol in any part of the Gift Studio will provide you with the same list to choose from!
Step 3: Customize the Greeting Body
The next field is the body field. This is where you can type out the reason for sending your gift. Again, you’ll want to keep in mind that this field will be sent to all recipients!
In lieu of writing a message, we also have the opportunity to send a video message to your team instead! Click on “Switch to Video” located on the righthand side to upload a video message to your team.
Please Note: Video specs: 100MB max (up to 5-10 minutes depending on video quality)
Step 4: Add your Signature
Finally, select your signature. By default, the message will always read “Yours, @company”. This will default to the parent company name. To adjust this, hover your mouse over the field and select from a list of options. If you choose Text, you’ll be able to write your own signature.
Step 5) Review & Launch
Head to the last step of your campaign → Review your salutation, message, and greeting by sending yourself a test email or previewing your gift. Once everything looks good to go, then you are ready to launch your campaign!
